i ment pay durso off

This result hurts more than any this season. Just to lose the game we didn't deserve to lose in that way has got me fuming! Both teams didn't deserve to win. Poor game all round and a 0-0 draw would have been the right result. Nothing is going our way at the moment but that's what happens when you are at the bottom. And as for the officials, well is there any words i can say on here without getting booted off? NO!!
will it ever happen
Absolute joke. How can Johnson get sent off but not their guy. Anyone on the South Stand get a view of what went on, I couldn't really see. Totally gutted, with Preston winning too.
Disgruntled Owl
Someone on Vital has said that he deserved to get red. He was sat on the south stand and as soon as it happend that JJ would go for that. Went for greening twice with his elbows!
will it ever happen
I was on the South and all I saw was JJ getting strangled. I'd like to know how that's a sending off offence!

FU*K OFF TO YOUR OWN SITE BFL1899!! You've spent millions this season and are still in the 5hit, just not as deep as us. D'urso is a disgrace. He should never referee ANY match again. He was a joke for the QPR-Stoke game on sunday, and for us last night. HE SHOULD NEVER REFEREE AGAIN!!
swfcjambo
O MY GOD WHY CANT U PEOPLE SEE THAT JOHNSON DESERVED TO BE SENT OFF N WAS LUCKY NOT TO HAVE GONE IN THE 1ST HALF WEN HE SMACKED BEDNER IN THE FACE N RAGGED HIM TO THE GROUND... HE GOT AWAY WITH IT AGAINST CHARLTON TOO!!! YES GREENING FOULED HIM N HE GOT BOOKED N WE GOT A FREE KICK!!! AND WE LOST CUS WE WERE PLAYIN FOR 0-0... THATS THE DISGRACE!!! WE HAD A GOAL KICK N TUDS WAS IN ACRES ON THE RIGHT BUT WE WENT THE OTHER WAY N JUST TRY TO KEEP THE BALL, LOST IT N LOST THE GAME!!! SHOWUMNI IS SHOCKIN N DONT GET ME STARTED ON KAVANAGH!!! GOIN DOWN... I SEE NO LIGHT!!
FUTURES BLUE N WHITE
Didn't go last night as I was working. Sounds as if we were cheated, yet again. I just cannot see where our goals are going to come from. Heard Sahar missed a sitter, Showumni really hasn't impressed me or the majority. Kav and Bolder don't have enough hunger. There's no one chasing interceptions or snapping at players heels in the middle of the park and making play a la Whelan. We miss Glenn badly. I say to BL, give Burton a starting place with Tudgay on the right wing and Sahar partnering him up front. Burton is looking hungry again. Finally, did JJ deserve the red? Heard mixed reports on this, but I'm well aware he has an attitidue problem at times, especially when he gets targeted and overmarked. I want to see his brilliance again (think against the Blunts). I'll be in the South stand on sat singing loud and swearing hard. Up the Wednesday. Oh, and BFL, you're not out of the **** yet either. Think before you open your mouth in future
S6Apple
agree 100% futures, but have to say back four are a very good defensive unit, greening should have walked too, and felt that although wba were best on the night we did deserve a point. kav is poor, showumni is no threat to anyone but ourselves and o'brien just doesn't give any options as a wide man going forward, bolder and tudgay worked very hard but for all there efforts the quality is missing.
dbblue
how long will it take before people see laws is not the man for the job? do we have to be playing league 1 football? we need a change and we need it now or we are gonners. a nice managerial "honeymoon" period is the only thing that can save us
mansfieldowl
and yes i am only thinking short term, at this precise moment i couldnt give a ***** about longterm managerial stability... b**locks
mansfieldowl
from my view, it looked like Sahar was pulled for his chance. We must take confidence from how well we played and what an absolute solid back four.
Bigash
all quite on the eastern front..... any one heard owt?
mansfieldowl
ha ha ha ha ha ha what a lovely day it is today, come on coventry tonight!!!! ha ha
bladesforlife1889
I think sheards group are in talks with owls board
Bigash
Laws is the man for the job Mansfield. He's done remarkably well given the circumstances. Now isn't the time change, although if we do get taken over, then we'll probably be forced to. Hey, I won't shun Mourinho when he's in charge!! We've earnt 5 points from a difficult past 4 games. A lot of teams higher up than us would be happy with that. It's still wide open at the bottom...........
S6Apple
this is crazy, laws has done an excellent job given the resources and he talks sense. you carnt question his passion. you dropp ed bo bo when you got rid of sturrock dont do the same. if you dont want laws you do you think you realisticly want?
bladesforlife1889
i like laws but his selection is shockin n some of his signings a wannk!! showumni n kavanagh... gimme strangth!! n he forces a good player like folly out of the club!! why have we got ben sahar if he's gonna be on the bench?? u could see last night he was makin clever runs n kavanagh just smashed the ball north!! D D D D F'in useless D D D D
FUTURES BLUE N WHITE
remarkably well?! we are 3rd bottom 3 points off safety! am i missing something? yes hes had financial constraints but in the current climate who hasnt? this team should not be in the drop zone but yet we are.... please explain
mansfieldowl
We had a good run end of last season(can't see it happening this season) Laws has done nothing, what happend pre season to get the start we had (7 losses on the bounce) he lets M'clean go for free, the only goal scorer we had (15-20)a season and now we are stuggling with lge 1 cast offs. he signs Sahar prem player but puts him on the bench. ps all gone quiet on the takeover they must be waiting to see if we go down so they can get the shares cheaper?
tommy craig
me thinks we need to cool our jets, the takeover will happen but we need to be patient, the team are good enough to stay up, but we as fans have got to believe in laws, a change now would be a catastrophy, by the way who could do a better job? answers on a postcard!!
dbblue
DBBlue, you're bang on. Calm down everyone. There's a long slog til the end of the season yet. Mansfield and Tommy, Laws HAS done remarkably well. Any lesser man would have walked by now. He is the man for the job. I can see his reasons for starting Enoch over Ben. Hopefully that will change on Sat. I won't be happy if it doesn't. Burton should also be given another chance. The takeover will happen. I think it's a case of no news is good news at the moment. Read my post on the JJ red card story. And all my others today. Now is the time to unite, not argue. Nuff said
S6Apple
..........and BLF, you're devils advocate! Singing Laws praises at one turn (is there some irony there a la Robson?) then slapping down the mighty Sheffield Wednesday in the next! You're red n whites are by no means safe yet either. We're not far behind you!
S6Apple
I have always backed Laws but since the last transfer window he let folly and Whelen go just to pay the wages of Wallwark(bench) Sahar(bench)Showuni(c--p) Kav(c--p) Bolder(not made up mind yet) the board must have been in talks over a takover so why not take a gamble on keeping Whelen to the end of the season.
tommy craig
just think you have to be realistic, if you boot laws out who the hell do you think you are going to get? lets be honnest mate, they aint guna be queing up for wendy job. we will be fine - i think lol, you guys are now 4 points adrift if it goes against you again on saturday you will be seriouslly in the 5HIT. It could be a season to celebrate after all, ha ha.
bladesforlife1889
probably a fair result given the stats above but how did it play out on the field?
