Hi, guys. I want to introduce myself. My name is Hristo, I am from Bulgaria, but I live in New York now. I've been a huge fan of Sheff Wed for the last 15 years. Sadly I can't watch the games live but I always follow the games online when Wednesday is playing. What a dreadful result that one is. I feel sick when I look at these stats - 17 shots on target - 1 goal!!! This season sucks - no doubt about it. I was looking through the season's statistics to get a better view why. Here are the results. They are bad: 1. Out of 44 games our opponents scored first 26 times. That's 60% of the games. 24 TIMES TIMES WE WERE DOWN IN THE FIRST 15 MINUTES. More than half of the games we started 1-0 down right from the dressing room. 2. Out of 53 goals conceded, 19 were in the first 15 minutes - this is 35% of all the goals we conceded. 3. Only 3 times we went 2-0 up (including cups). We did NOT manage to win any of these 3 games. Well, these are some devastating statistics. But they are not important now. There's 2 games in front of us and the truth is - WE WIN THESE TWO - WE STAY UP. As simple as that. Can we do that - OF COURSE WE CAN. Will we do that - we will see. UP THE OWLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yup frigging 17 shots on target and 1 goal says it all really
mick66owl
1 goal from all those shots on teget!!!!!!! Says it all indeed. Very poor, very very poor!
will it ever happen
RatherRandomOwl you say you feel sick how do you think we feel ? at least you haven't got to watch the ***** being served up, no motivation or passion, the way the teams playing i don't think they know we are in a relegation fight where in the brown stuff and i don't think we will get out of it
duds
17 shots on target? where do they get these stats from? they make it look all one sided and it was far from that. Blackpool were BY FAR the better team. Oh well nice ground for league 1.
crossy2425
at least that might make people wake up and see that brian laws is not the man for the job. he has been shocking and im amazed by the support hes still getting. Wake up call... we are heading towards league 1... again... we are in the financial ***** and are never going to recover, we desperately needed to stay up but, unfortunately, we have been let down by poor tactics, poor motivation and poor signings. it like what john pearrson said, we werent playing liverpool, we were playing blackpool, and we were humiliated by a very poor team
mansfieldowl@home
dont start gettind on laws back mansfieldowl. hes done a great job all considering, anyone else in that hot seat and you be already relegated no doubt about it. leicester is absolutely massive. its simple you win and you are just ok you lose and you are down. its the most important game in 20 years for wendy.
bladesforlife1889
now its not if we lose were down, if we lose then we gotta hope southampton lose (im sure they have got a tough game) then on the last game we know that the blunts will beat southampton :)
smiggyswfc
it all depends on results this week palace lose and we win against bristol city then it all hangs on the southampton game palace lose and we win, we are in the playoffs simple as. palace win on saturday regardless and its over for us. with nothing to play for and southampton everything to play for i would predict them to beat us. leicester will beat you on saturday and norwich is always a tricky fixture. bet you ar 5hitting it!! ha ha
