Nothing more than we expected really. Need to send Smith back to Chelsea. Has been a huge disappoint and not what we want. This may come as a shock but i think Laws should be thinking about playing Lunt, he's no worse than Smith. It's about time he started repaying the club and fans by performing for once. Wouldn't surprise me if he was on the bench for Tuesday's game, depending on the fitness of the other palyers?
will it ever happen
totally agree with the lunt comment. his first season at wednesday he was not to bad, he has the ability, and he is dangerous from long shots. i just cant understand how we can crumble so amazingly away from home and ship so many goals, the one up front formation doesnt work surely thats plain to see, ive got serious reservations about buxton aswell.
mansfieldowl
jesus...you lot have done nothing bit slate lunt for god know how long, now he's your saviour - whatever next warnock as manager at theswillsborough sty?? you lot did miles better than what i expected today anyway, as i had you down for a 8-1 loss. it was only 3-1 so you are 5 better off, look on the positive side pigglets!!!
bladesforlife1889
WOW - JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE DIFFERENCE - ALMOST 10,000 MORE THROUGH THE GATES AT BDTBL & THAT INCLUDES A SHEFFIELD DERBY GATE TOO!! SHEFFIELD UNITED AVERAGE ATTENDANCE - 25,408 SHEFFIED WENDY AVERAGE ATTENDANCE - 16,148
bladesforlife1889
lol bfl lay of the cheese our lowest attendance is 17000 so how can average be 16000? and listen this time because im fed up of saying it THE ONLY REASON YOU GET HIGH ATTENDANCES IS YOU GIVE TICKETS AWAY AND HAVE 10 KIDS SEASON TICKETS, its nothing to be proud of. Unlike the score in said sheff derby what was it again moonpig?
wesp
and you were 4 out for the derby game your predictions are getting worse, i'd give up
wesp
Yey let's give free season tickets away and have cardboard cut out fans just like the pigs, then we can pretend we're a big club just like they do! bfl what a clown
johnnywalker69
1,200 season tickets were sold at 10 quid each, come girls just admit it, we have far more fans than you do - the futures bright, the futures red n white. Still waiting for you replay johnnypig regards to this 21,000 attendance for a derby game??? you wana stop taking those happypiggy pills lado!!
bladesforlife1889
Alright Wesp, I've got to disagree with you. The Blunts policy of discount season tickets for young fans is far sighted and good management on behalf of their club. It's a policy with an eye to the future unlike their team which is a retirement home for arthritic has-beens. Our management's policy of raising ticket prices has succeeded in driving down our average gates by almost 8 thousand on average (I think). So let's look at the situation with sensible non partisan eyes. Our club's management are doing a sterling job under trying circumstances on the pitch but off it... well they're following the bank manager's economic road to rack and ruin. If the ticket prices were cheaper they'd get more through the turnstiles and the blunts cheap youth ticket is a way of increasing family numbers. Good sound financial planning.

Oh and I totally agree over Smith, I've never slagged Lunt BFL and felt he was hard done by. If we need to free wage finance then sending Smith back to London would make all the sense in the world.
robc
Are we actually paying Smiths wage or are Chelski still paying him whilst here?
will it ever happen
Good question, no idea
robc
Gave you a reply, cant you read piggy boy? 1,200 free season tickets, yeah yeah yeah, more like 4,000-5,000. Go back to your 10,000 gates that you had under Adrian Heath... cardboard cut out fans
johnnywalker69
OOO JOHNNYPIG I THOUGH YOU WERE MY FRIEND TOO???? jealousy gets you nowhere lad. Its great to see all the kids in the park wearing blades shirts these days. The attendance figures have never been as far apart bewteen both club sheff clubs. Last season when there were no offers on we were still the best supported club outside the premiership with a 26,500 average gate, so quite with the pathetic excuses you grubby pink 4 legged snout snifflers!!
bladesforlife1889
robc never had a go at the policy of course its good business thats bleeding obvious, im having a go at united fans constantly going on about attendances like theyre attracting fans because theyre a big club when the SOLE REASON is the cheap tickets, dont get me wrong i'd love wednesday board to do same and see us get 30000+ every game just find it funny pig fans goin on about numbers all time when any club would get mid 20000 maybe more given same price structure. 1-0 moonpig
wesp
and bfl 1200 eh? given your past grasp of numbers with our 16148 average att which is miraculous given that our lowest was 17000 youll forgive me for not believing you pig
wesp
I think the extra attendance at Bramall Lane is just people who don't want to watch the Owls any more. Supporters shifting that way increases the IQ level of both crowds, so a bonus for all of us really (waits for bfl to work that one out....)
Auckland Owl
Yeah i'm well jealous bfl, i wish we could attract 10,000 fans and muster 200 people to go across the road to barnsley
johnnywalker69
what johnny boy? ha ha
bladesforlife1889
Auckland that's genius :D
jacey
Can't you read bfl? Or is it just that you can't think of anything to put, can't think of anything to justify your pathetic fans!
