Good result and Jeffers scored too. Bloomin hell things ARE looking up. Was that Potters 1st league goal?
CLIFFANDJ
absolutley brilliant performance!! we could have had more than four. was so pleased for jeffers hopefully this will start him off scoring.
supersibon
great to see waddle back there!! all we need now is the band back!!!
supersibon
great match. should have had 6 or 7 goals.
owlswfc
ive heard we got a new goal scorer in the ranks now, not scored for yonks, BL makes few changes and up he pops, nice one franny!!!!!! well done potter, and tudders for the brace WTID
sussxowl74
great performance..we dont need the stupid band back they ruin the atmosphere!
WORKSOP..OWL
so if he sed before the match-last special guest is the band-u think everyone would have booed?
supersibon
Of course we would have booed. Don't want them back at all!! Great result and good performance. The 2 new lads did very well. Gray's deliveries were fantastic, just what we was missing. The midfield looked very good yesterday for once and was great to see Jeffers get a goal. Lets hope he can go on and get plenty more. Great to see the ground almost full and a decent atmosphere. Are the good time about to come back to S6?
will it ever happen
Charlton were very poor as well. Probably one of the worst teams to come to Hillsborough for a while. They will definitely go down.
will it ever happen
great day ozzie owl back at hillsborough start of a new era gray and potter gave us the quality we have lacked of late this is a great time to be a wednesdayite new chairman and board have started to undo all the bad work kaven walker has done getting the fans back on board and giving local schools free tickets is the way forward as these young people are your future fans .opening up the lower west stand to kids is something we should do on a regular basis well done mr strafford common sence at last .
beverley owl
Great crowd yesterday! Good idea about the free tickets.
herringthorpe
Great atmosphere and result. Nice to see the new boys pulling performing well - Gray looks lively and effective and I really liked Potter int he middle - he tackled well and didn't give the ball away either, great goal too. Was well chuffed to see Franny score too! Tudders his usual brilliant self! Grated, Chrlton were poor but 4 goals against anyone in this league is an achievement. Things are looking up!
SuperOwls
By the way, which fans said they didn't want 'Hi Ho' played after goals??? Bring it back I say!
SuperOwls
a solid display the stats say it all
BIG TONY
fair enough about the band-didnt know so many people dint like them-lol
supersibon
Never been a big fan of the band but a least it generated some noise, i thought the Cop were cardboard cut outs until the third goal went in yesterday! Great result and a couple of decent additions to the team in Gray and Harry.
LP-OWL
cracking goal for springy!!!
bladesforlife1889
wow - 2,500 free school kids too!!
bladesforlife1889

smiggyswfc
