Played well, there goal was never a corner to start wi+h. why varney didnt go for the roof of the net when he hit the post ill never know. i disagree with him playing wood, he should let the money grabber rot. after everything we played ok but our defence was shown up again

if Wood is playing well he should start. he will want to play well to get a move and we might get more than nothing for him if he does! not ideal but no need cutting off our nose hey

dont think we had a player that didnt play absolutly excellent and if beevers was still suffering then wood should have been the one to come on. i think that beside the shocking refereeing the game was very good for both fans. all the defence and miller played out of there skins

Got to question the replacing of JJ with Leon. Ok JJ was complaining of tight hamstrings but surely EE was the right man for the job. Today BL is moaning that we didn't deserve to lose the game but I've heard this kind of moan all to often this season. Either that or moaning about our inability to defend. I genuinely don't like to say this but I'm slowly losing faith in Mr Laws. It's not the losing that wrankles (though it does) but the constant whining about matters that he is in a position to do something about. All through the summer most of us were shouting for a forward but none was forthcoming. This changed when Varney arrived on loan for a second time but Varney is not the answer we were looking for. He has ability but is he capable of fifteen to twenty goals a season? In addition to that we need to examine how we defend. Clearly there's a lack of confidence but I'm not going to slam them for conceding two because I fear the return of Captain Purse (please don't tell me he's got a three year contract). Next year when Jeffers contract is up should mean the release of extra funds (if we're still in the same division) as should the departure of Wood. Please Mr Laws don't waste them again and for the moment stop whingeing and start winning.
