I doubt it very much. Lee Strafford said he was happy with the performance so you can take that as meaning he isnt going to get rid of Laws and is happy with us to be playing in League One next season. Lets see the investors come out of the woodwork when that happens...........NOT.

I am thinking Strafford don't give a dam.. and obvioulsy doesn't want to pay his contract up. What a total mess, joke. We are a complete an utter disgrace and laughing stock. No goals in 7 hours. How he gets away with that I don't know.

It would seem that way James wouldnt it ? I dont know what he's hoping to achieve be leaving things the way they are.

bull***** mate..i have a season ticket home and away for as long as i can remember..the wednesday fans were good tonight considering..anyway i am not talking about the proper fans which watch our team every week like we do , i am talking about these computer hard men who just spout ***** when they havent even seen the game..laws went with a game plan tonight to stop donny playing football and it worked..the commitment from the players was 110% we won every second ball..the only difference was quality in front of goal..donny had 1 chance all game and took the ref was a joke..laws will turn it around..stick with him.

must admit i was calling for laws to be sacked and although i didnt go, so cant really comment on the game, my opinion has changed. Ive heard we played well which considering how horendos weve been over past few weeks, we couldnt really have played any worse tonight. glad he dropped gray, still a bit annoyed that he brings loan players in and barely uses them, just seems like a waste of money.unlucky wednesday!!

I don't understand why Feeney and Soares have been brought in if they are not going to get play, surely academy players could have been brought in to keep the bench warm!!

The comments about our bench-warming loan players are absolutely spot on. If the players who BL has brought in are no better than what we have (which isn't much looking at our centre midfield and strikers), then why have we thrown money away yet again?! New manager please - Darren Ferguson the stand out candidate in my opinion.

Won the possession, stopped Donny playing, STILL lost Worksop. BL should have had one aim last summer which was to find a goalscorer but instead he spunked away what funds he had. Yes Purse did well last night, that makes 4 decent games in a Wednesday shirt from him. How long are you going to stand by and blame referees, lack of money, *****-poor players (who did pretty well last season), bad luck, the weather or the fans every time we lose? Which is getting to be a very regular occurrance by the way. BL's troubles are of his own making, no-one elses. Not one person was calling for his head at the beginning of the season. A few, not many, expressed doubts about his summer signings. A few expressed doubts about our early season form. Not until we lost the derby did people begin to wonder if BL was in the right job. Even then it has taken a run of unbelievably atrocious form and results to turn the fans against him. BL has tried publicly berating the players, tried scare tactics by sending a couple out on loan with a view to selling them. Tried bringing new blood. Nothing is working for him. I have defended our chairman to the hilt so far but now I'm beginning to wonder, at least Dave Allen didn't draw out the Sturrock saga. When he thought KPS should go (and it was time) he went. Oh for a bit of decision making like that now.

in my opinion we should stick with Laws and Strafford. The club as a whole is moving forwards, unfortunately the results are poor but I believe we will recover well in 2nd half of the season. My only complaint is why sign 2 loan players and not play them? For that Laws should get slap by Strafford. To change managers now would be a waste of time, who is good enough to come in? Pearson, D Ferguson etc are all relatively inexperienced and I can't see them making any difference long term, we've been down that road before. Macauly has no experience, most caretaker managers do well and he may become a good manager but there is no logical reason to giv hime the job. Wilkinson left before because we had no money! He's a good advisor but he's been out of management too long although his direct long ball style might work in this division, not for me.

Don't understand you Hirsty. Do you want the chairman to start interfering with team selections? If that's the case why have a manager? No the chairman hires the manager, and it's the chairman who fires the manager. Other than that he should provide the budget that the Manager has to work with and that's it as far as team affairsgo. If the manager cannot perform under these circumstances then he should go. It's beginning to do my head in this constant unwavering question "who are we going to get?" We replaced Turner and improved, we replaced Sturrock and improved, should we stick with Lawsand watch all that improvement flushed down the pan. If caretaker's always do well then appoint a f***ing caretaker. Anything but this.

I'm not sure if i qualify to wright on here ! Ive got a season ticket but i didn't go to Everton away boxing day 1994 1 of my kids was born the same day so I'm probably not a proper fan (checks with worksop) He says "he will let it slide this time". The bottom line is we still lost although played better, worksop can you see Laws securing the ten wins we need to stay up ?. personally i can't see were the next win is coming from.

I have also had enough of this stick by Laws attitude no matter what. He deserves credit for his early work but this season has been awful and I do not know how anyone can try to defend it. Did we really expect to be one place above relegation at this stage of the season, on goal difference? Would this have been ok for everyone at the beginning of the season? I am sick of hearing that we played well - but lost, or that we deserved to win - but lost. The latest crappy result against Doncaster is now ok because the players showed commitment. No, it's not - that's what they get paid to do and it's Law's job to make sure they do. Are we supposed to be happy because Laws got the players to try? That it? A little bit of effort against Doncaster doesn't excuse the performances, tactics, buys and team selection of Laws as far as I am concerned. I don't think he has any chance of turning the corner he seems to have been trying to turn all season and he has no chance of suddenly winning a decent run of games. All in all, I really have no idea what we are waiting for. It's not the case that Laws is irreplaceable and I would also settle for McCauly if Sheff Wed were really to become the first club in football that couldn't attract any other manager at all but it will get harder if we wait much longer and fall into the bottom three. Sorry but I think we will on Saturday because I have no faith that Laws can get a sustained run out of this team no matter who we play. This is a results business and ours speak for themselves, which is why we are currently one of the worst teams in this league. There are fans that can bang on about others keeping quiet because they weren't at the games but this is a results business and ours speak for themself and I'd rather play crap and win than play well and lose. We can worry about quality when we have some points in the bag but Brian cant get any either way. Fact is if he doesn't go now he will before too long because there is no way the change he keeps talking about is going to happen anytime soon and what the hec is Feeney and Soares loan all about? He really just makes no sense anymore.

You lot who think the current regime is going to work when we score a goal... what planet you on?? We apparently played ok last night though greated one chance. Again went with negative attitude towards the game and hoped we get a 0-0 in my opinion. I am not putting another quid into this ***** club until things drastically improve. Why should I. Strafford is full of false promises and Laws, well quite clearly has lot the players, the plot all together.
