extremely pleased bowt the result, fully deserved in my opinion, but have to say was very very disappointed with tudgay today, thought he had a bad game and couldnt believe it when AI took varney off instead of him, couldnt see why tudgay deserved to be on the pitch instead of varney, id drop him!!!!! purse needs to learn how to pass a ball but apart from that-very pleasing!!!! U.T.O!!!!
supersibon
I agree supersibon, Tudders looked very poor, hardly got a touch and body language looked very defeated. Purse poor as usual. On a positive note, thought we looked pretty comfortable all night. Solid midfield performance - Potter outstanding. Up the Owls!

i must have seen a different game i thought purse was excellent solid nothing got past him
bradford_owl
There's no doubt he's improved in recent weeks but he still looks pretty dodgy to me. On one occasion in front of the kop he was lucky to be saved by a crap Blackpool striker who took too long to shoot giving Frankie time to step in. A better striker would have buried it. He gets turned and beaten far too easily on far too many occasions and his distribution is pretty poor.
SuperOwls
SuperOwls must have been watching a different game to me. Purse had an excellent game last night. Don't mind slagging players off when they are crap but give the guy a break.
CLIFFANDJ
i wasnt slagging purse of btw, i was just saying that his long ball passing is very poor. Were still lacking that creativity on the wing i think, but didnt really looked troubled throughtout the match.

I'm certainly no fan of Purse but we got the win and kept a clean sheet. What more do you want? Yes we're not promotion candidates but examine your football cliches and take it 1 game at a time. 6 wins = 52 points and safety. How fast we get to 52 dictates the rest of the season. I've had my say when we were *****e in the first half of the season. Now I'm going to back the team and keep quiet about the players I doubt until the summer when Al Irvine can sort things out and make the team his. For the moment these are our players and he's got them winning. I'm happy with that.

I don't like Purse, but i have to say he was our rock at the back last night, m.o.t.m performance take notice Beevers and Tudgay who were both poor last night.
ecco owl
thought Potter and JOC were magnificent. first clean sheet for a while is pretty good. however distribution at times was poor. its another 3 points and the owls keep marching on lets beat donny next week as we owe them one!!! UTO
