some how I think that's the only stat they got wrong. but seriously how the fudge can we be giving Barnsley 20 shots on goal. The good thing is though at least Jones can take the credit for a tactically astute game plan and convincing victory ( or I am sure he will delude himself into giving it a go )

how many times did we manage to put more than two passes together? Very few times is the answer and I still feel very worried over our survival.

Reposting my rant in the right place! At the start of the season we looked creative, attacking and brave. Yes we conceded goals, but always scored more, and it was great to watch. Fact forward to yesterday, flippin hoof ball madness! The teams confidence is clearly shot as they spent the hole came bypassing the midfield, instead of build from the back. Chris Kirkland hit it up the field everytime. We have some good players, but we have to stop worrying about conceeding and get back to our attacking ways.

I get nostalgia thinking back to the start of the season, all that excitement and enthusiasm. It was transmitted from the fans to the players and back again. I don't think expectation levels were high enough to be a problem either, but none of us could've imagined the **** that was about to follow. As you say SeattleOWL we were scoring and conceding but we were winning. Me? I'd have kept Bywater in the side after his clean sheet vs. Fulham and see if that made a difference, but we went and lost the next match and after that DJ simply lost the plot. If there's a chance of things beginning to look a shade better then surely it's down to the team he's selecting now looking more like the one that started the season, which begs the question: Why spend four months wrecking a winning formula? Never mind, eh? If we can possibly build on Saturday's result I'm sure the confidence will return on and off the pitch and we might start to recognize 'our' team once more.

The result was good. Nice to see Madine's honesty on the telly. Even though it is somehow a bit unsettling to see it, it left me mostly feeling that he was playing the game as hard as he could and that it was not actually cheating to foul the keeper. Just a foul in the spur of the moment? We profited from a poor refereeing decision this time. I agree with those who want to see more passing through the midfield.

Reliably informed Beevers had a rock solid game last night against Brighton, gave away the penalty last 2 mins but had shown signs of command and authority for the other 88mins. It just seems so bizarre Millwall 6th in the table with our centre half
