We should all be aware by now, there's as much chance of MM sacking his manager as there is DJ refusing a second helping from the dessert trolley. Therefore we're once again left clutching straws and trying to take every positive imaginable into the next game. A creditable draw at Bolton? An all-round better performance? Sure, if we choose to ignore the fact that they're struggling too, haven't won a home game in yonks and according to their fans were woeful against us.No wonder their manager had that hunted look while ours was left thinking about what's for tea. It's a shame we only managed a draw under the circumstances. But that's the bottom line, isn't it? 12th league game coming up and no wins. I'm not sure an away derby game will provide one either. Form tends to go out the window and since both sides rarely show any these days it'll probably be decided by a fluke, a dodgy decision or some kinda divine retribution. I've been lumping fixtures into groups of four and whatever happens on Saturday we'll follow that with games against Reading, Derby, Huddersfield & Blackpool. The reality is, if we don't WIN at least two of those we're gonna find ourselves cast adrift at the bottom with Xmas approaching, and probably Yeovil down there to keep us company. Sommat else to think about next time your eyes pop open at 3am...

Dingles 1-1 Wednesday = 12 games 0 wins and (probably) dumps us at the bottom of the table. I'll say it again: Jones should've been shown the door during the summer. He kept us up (according to him, a bigger achievement than promotion. Really?) Okay, in that case well done, he'd have been leaving on a 'high' with his precious reputation intact. But no, we've been made to endure this instead, and as much as I hope each day to log on and discover he's finally done the 'honourable' thing and RESIGNED I just know he'll stay to milk our demise for every penny he can get his hands on. Weirdly, it seems no more than MM's lack of ambition deserves except it's us long-suffering fans who'll continue to pay the price... not happy!
