What is going on??? I think that is quite possibly the best possible line up we could field and we are losing to Preston!! Jeffers injured AGAIN??!! I hope we aint gonna be relying on Esajas now like we were Brunt?! Anyone see the match? If so maybe you could let me know how we looked on the pitch?

1st half we were lucky not to have conceeded 4!..very poor just lumped the long ball up to sodje all the time although we had 2 very good penalty shouts!..second half much better, got it out to the wide men and dominated the whole second half but didnt get any luck and lacked the killer touch in front of goal..jeffers missed a one on one with the keeper before limping off again and Esajas hit a superb shot which came back off the inside of the post!..if we keep playing like we did in the 2nd half then it will turn around for us..the fans as allways were superb and backed the team all the way.

>"the fans as allways were superb and backed the team all the way." That's really good to hear, although I guess the problem isn't the away fans, it's the home fans who barrack the team and who will use their displeasure with the board as grounds for attacking the team and manager......

yes mate and I see BL has asked for patience from our fans, unfortunately patience and football are two words that just don't go together I give laws one more game if we lose 18 points down the swanny is just not good enough, but then again as I said before when you sign rubbish players then you should be well prepared for playing lower league football I blame both the board and laws for this, laws judgement is poor ( leon clarke, Richard Hinds) I know the board put pressure on him to get rid of players but I wish he would say this, its ok making excuses but we could have done with keeping hills coughlan and macca, not brunt because he didn't care anymore, we wasted what little money we had and now we are no better than an average/poor side and results reflect that and people can talk about luck all day, we are lookin like relegation fodder and the sooner people at the club acknowledge this the easier it will be to sort it out crowds are dwindling and the belief is gone from many fans and I will always blame the poor decision making of getting rid of experienced players and that chuffin stupid stupid stupid stupid embarrassing press conference for the current state of affairs now I must stop before I get on the pro-zac!
Holl
i aggre what you say on some of the signings..the goalkeepers in particular..but i disagree that we are a poor team and relegation fodder..its down to confidence and luck..i go home and away every week and nothing is going our way at the moment..evey major decision is going against us and shots that would normally go in are hitting the woodwork or being cleared off the line!..we are playing some superb football at times and i have every confidence mr laws will turn it around like placebo said lets just get behind him and the team at home as well as away.

Can anyone tell me is jeffers(is he the new donelly/odonnel/hinchliffe/ jonk/hirst the list goes on) injured again??.
mick66owl
we were very poor, its not just bad luck becuase in the first half we were pathetic, no passing just lumping balls forward n creating naff all, second half we were better and should of scored, but we were lucky to still be in the game after the 1st half
smiggyswfc
This could be the week you know? 2 home games 6 points are a must. mr laws says to be patient. but he should be saying that to dave allen. paul sturrock was sacked for less, than the worst start in the history of S.W.F.C. He needs to start getting results and fast.so lets get behind the lads tuesday n saturday n hopefully we can forget the start an concentrate on getting up that league
mick66owl
pretty bad times for you guys....just got to ride the storm and keep behind the team no matter how much bad luck etc....
ernshaw
well im looking after the first 10 games and see where we are then!
will it ever happen
