is wallwork injured or have we just done the same as usual and bought a useless player who doesnt even get into the team.

Take it easy on Wallwork. He was an unused substitute. In centre mid was Kav and Bolder - two players signed since Wallwork joined up. Surely Woods has got to partner Beevers and cannot pretend to be happy that Gilbert got a game at left back.

I made the trip to Bristol today and we got beat in every department by Bristol City........What have we become? We need a commander at the back in the shape of Michael Johnson partnering Richard Wood, Beevers and Hinds have played there cameo's now its time for the experience to take over. Kavanagh needs to improve fast. Deon Burton was a great player last season, effort and workrate and now we get nothing from him.

im not having ago at wallwork hm it just ive been quite impressed by what ive seen of him but why leave him on the bench, bolder should be given atleast a few days training with the lads before we just thrust him into the team. cant have done wallworks confidence much good

Unfortunately Smiggy thats all Laws can do on a shoe string budget mate The whole situation at Hillsborough is a complete farce. We lack depth so badley, on a whole we have a pretty solid starting 11 but after that we are really bare boning IT. We lose a player to injury and and we are in dire straits as to how to replace that position with a compitant enough player. This also seems to be making the starting 11 become complacent and lazy as there is no compertition for places. I carnt blame Laws its a case of right man at the wrong time, until the board sort themselves out or a takeover is completed there aint much more Mr Laws can do, and I only hope he doesnt get too fed up of this whole comedy act and jump the boat early cos that would be devastating for the club. UP THE OWLS !!!

The only reason this Bolder guy can't get a game at QPR is cos they pretty much bought a new first team in January. According to the QPR fans he's a decent player who they don't want to lose.

why the blind loyalty to laws? im sorry but its time for a change.... he has systematically demolished a promising squad of players and replaced them with rejects. can any1 honestly tell me they wouldnt prefer to see folly and mclean in the team as opposed to watson and jeffers. he could of done more to keep mclean but he didnt want sturrocks players as he has since proved. he has had the money 700k on jeffers and however much on clarke and sodje, plus the wages of burch and hinds..... time for a change before its to late

........all the stats on here are wrong, we actually won 3-2. Bully got a hattrick! Laws' hands are tied Mansfield. Leave him be. He's doing the best he can. What happened to the "advanced negotiations" of the last investment rumours?? We badly need stability at board level. It effects the best of clubs - look at Liverpool this season. Lets kick on and hope BL can get a half decnt goalscoring striker on loan asap. 5 out the next 6 games are at home, all 6 are tough. Time to get behind the Wednesday when they need it most

ill leave him be when A) he doesnt make ridiculous comments in the press about the fans and players B)motivates the players to perform C) Trains lee bullen to clear the ball to a teammate/not into his own area D) accepts that all his signing bar sodje and grant have been a disaster E) resigns..... if these things dont happen i cant see us staying up

mansfield owl..the last thing swfc need right now is a change of manager..there is enough crap going on around the club at the moment without creating even more crap!..what could a new manager do anyway? transfer windows money anyway!..leave laws alone mate!!

Agree completely with all ya comments S6APPLE.Laws like I said earlier is a quality manager. I dont think any top manager could make anything of Sheffield Wednesday at the moment, its all too easy to blame the manager and it has been the excuse for far too many years. Its time for managers as scape goats to stop, I mean lets face it, what difference has changing the manager made over the last 10 years !! The problems at Hillsborough are much deeper and its only natural that we as loyal fans feel we need to point a finger as a way a dealing with it....but im afraid pointing it at Mr Laws aint the answer.

Cheers for the backing stevebooker. MansfieldOwl.....A) what ridiculous comments?? B) I'm sure BL motivates the players as best he can - but it's a give and take thing. The players need to have passion too. To quote Laws "It's a confidence game". BL himself has a lot of motivation given our position - I wouldn't want the job! C) Admittedly Bully is past his best (cracking goal on Sat tho) but he's the best we have til Frankie is back D) Sodje & Grant aren't the only decent signings he's made - JJ & Hinds have improved no end. The best winger we have. Esajas, Watson & Wallwork are good squad players E) BL is too proud to resign

hang on a second, esajas is blatantly not good enough, he has good ball control but a strong breeze sends him flying, hinds is second rate at best. and as for johnson, its all well and good hurtling around at a hundred miles an hour but if your final ball is crap wots the point, he isnt interested in the fight ive never seen him put a tackle in he doesnt look for the ball he aint interested. i dont like to see managers sacked but something has to give im sure youll agree, and as u cant sack the players its the manager, after all its his responsibilty to ensure we dont go down.....
